Helix curves are always deployed in parcel handling systems when apart from transport over a curve there is also a difference in height that needs to be overcome. Thanks to the holistic construction concept, BREMA helix curves combine performance and reliability. In addition, the effective space requirement of the conveyor reduces in the system layout and the entire handling right up to belt replacement is highly simplified.

BREMA helix curves offer the following benefits

  • Extremely high values of throughput
  • Less controlling effort and no advance cyclic operation
  • Patented belt guiding system and conical drums for maximum reliability and smoothness in running
  • Low-tension conveyor belt drive across the entire width of the belt enables extremely long deployment times
  • Optimised in terms of weight, space and installation
  • Very low noise levels compared to conveyors with chain drives

Brief, accurate and forceful - timing conveyors from BREMA

While merging in sorting circuits or collecting lines of parcel handling systems, high-power modules such as BREMA angled belt conveyors are used. In order to be able to exploit the full performance of these modules, timing conveyors are required that work reliably even in a Stop-and-Go mode of operation. High starting torques and conveyor speeds are no problem for these BREMA Timing conveyors. For very short conveyor track lengths compared to the belt width, BREMAtwo-sided belt guidance that ensures absolute directional stability.

BREMA Roller Merge – Contactless merging with high performance and speed

When it comes to merging two input lines in a parcel distribution centre with high throughput and without the parcels making contact with anything then you need to deploy the BREMA Roller Merge. The goods to be transported run through the Roller Merge without making contact with the guide elements on the sides and this therefore prevents very flat goods, such as envelopes or film packages, from becoming jammed below the lateral guides.

The BREMA Roller Merge provides the following benefits

  • Contactless merging of even very flat goods such as envelopes or film packages
  • Large range of products based on the low roller diversion of 57 mm
  • Timing operation is possible to some extent in the design using rubberised rollers
